Super Carry .45 ACP pistols from the Kimber Custom Shop take performance to the extreme. A light weight aluminum frame makes them easy to carry, and custom features like round heel and Carry Melt for smooth edges, night sights with cocking shoulder and KimPro II self-lubricating finish are standard. To mark the 1911 centennial, the Kimber Custom Shop has created the Centennial Edition, an engraved .45 ACP with presentation case. Appointments include real ivory grips and a special finish by Turnbull Restoration. Only 250 will be offered. Ultra TLE II, Stainless Ultra TLE II and Stainless Pro TLE II pistols in .45 ACP blend light weight and shorter barrels for easier carry with important features like night sights for faster aiming and front strap checkering for a secure grip. These models are also available with Crimson Trace Lasergrips. The Ultra RCP II .45 ACP from the Custom Shop with trough sight, rounded edges and bobbed controls is highly specialized for backup carry. Finally, the great Ultra CDP II from the Custom Shop is now available with Crimson Trace Lasergrips.

Rifles

By combining classic features and precision in a true light weight package, the Model 84L creates a new benchmark for sporting rifles. The numbers are impressive. Weight is just 6 pounds, 2 ounces - even with a 24-inch barrel for optimum velocity - and magazine capacity is a surprising 5 rounds. The Classic model with hand-finished walnut stock is available .270 Win. and .30-06 Spfd. The Classic Select Grade adds a French walnut stock with ebony forend tip, along with a third chambering - the flat-shooting .25-06 Rem. Standard features include match grade barrel, chamber and trigger.

Riding on Kimber's reputation for outstanding accuracy, tactical rifles have been backordered since they were introduced. New this year is the Model 8400 Patrol in .308 Win. A 20-inch barrel permits fast deployment and makes it easy to carry. Model 8400 WSM rifles are now available in Classic Stainless configuration with fine walnut stocks and stainless steel barreled actions. Model 84M Pro Varmint rifles have been upgraded with new features, including heavier barrel and beavertail forend. Finally, the Model 8400 Caprivi is chambered in .416 Rem. Mag.
